Salty Dogs Chalet - Lowestoft

We had a lovely stay at the Salty Dogs Chalet Villa. It was a short walk to the unspoilt beach and the parking was convenient with level access. the chalet was very clean and tidy, and the modern interior was a pleasant surprise. the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We especially appreciated that the chalet was dog-friendly and didn't have any lingering smells. the owners were helpful and friendly, and the beautiful garden added to the overall charm. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 😊.

We absolutely loved our stay at Salty Dogs Chalet! The location was perfect, and the radiators kept us warm in the cold weather. It felt like a home away from home with all the necessary amenities provided, including toiletries and a bowl of celebration chocolates. The WiFi was an unexpected bonus. The bed was comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The living room had a nice focal point with a good TV. If we're ever back in the area, we would definitely stay again.

One small drawback was the presence of a strong detergent smell on the bed linen, which may be an issue for those with allergies. However, this didn't detract significantly from the overall experience.

We stayed during the off-season, perfect for walking the dog on the beach with no street lights. Good location for exploring nearby towns and beaches. Supermarkets and fish & chip shop close by. Chalet had everything needed, clean and easy access. Owners provided helpful information beforehand and checked in on us. Tea, coffee, and biscuits on arrival were a nice touch. Will definitely return.

We had an excellent New Year break at Salty Dogs Chalet Villa. The location was perfect, with a beautiful unspoilt beach nearby. The chalet was very clean and comfortable, providing separate rooms for our children. We appreciated the key safe access, allowing us to check in at any time. The hosts were great with communication and made sure we found the property easily. The surrounding area was peaceful and we enjoyed walking our dog Herbie in the wide-open spaces. one of the best self-catering accommodations we have stayed in. We will definitely book again later this year.

Great location near the beach, shops, and supermarket. Comfortable, well-equipped chalet for a family of four with friendly and helpful owners. Returned items we left behind. Wonderful stay!

The owners even turned on the heating for us, so the chalet was warm and cozy upon arrival. the location was great, with easy access to the beach and dunes for leisurely strolls.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the bed linen had a strong detergent smell, which was a bit overwhelming for me, although my daughter didn't notice it.

The lack of an enclosed outside area, which meant having to walk our dogs on leads for toileting purposes.
